How Wattage Scaling Works

All material presets in our tools are calibrated for a 20W fiber laser. When you set a different wattage, the tools automatically scale speed and power to maintain the same energy density on your material.

Energy Density = (Watts × Power%) / (Speed × Line Interval)

To maintain consistency: newSpeed = baseSpeed × (yourWattage / 20)
📌 Note: Material presets are optimized for fiber lasers. CO2/Diode users: presets will be adapted but may need manual fine-tuning based on your specific materials.
